Call to Mother, Call to Mother, Call to Mother, Oh my mad mind. Who else is there in this world except Mother? I am Mother, you are Mother Mother is mine, Mother is yours In this world of illusion, My mind understands but it can't comprehend One day all of this will vanish. Who will you be able to call your own? Call to Mother, Call to Mother, Call to Mother, Oh my mad mind. In this world of illusion, Everyone is singing and dancing Busying their mind with useless things One day all of this will vanish. Who will you be able to call your own? Call to Mother, Call to Mother, Call to Mother, Oh my mad mind.

"The Bauls are a sect of mystical musicians who come from Bengal, India. Traditionally, these wandering mystics travelled from village to village singing their songs and dancing, a way by which they sought and felt the ecstasy of union with God. Their songs, it is understood, are their scriptures. They are known for their unconventional manner, as indicated by their name: the Bengali word 'baul' is derived from the Sanskrit vatula, meaning "mad." They are often referred to as "madmen drunk with God." Haradhan Das Baul is a holder of this sacred tradition, born into a traditional Baul family in the villages of Birbhum, West Bengal." — Emory Hall
